Magadan Governor Sergey Nosov has said he will ask journalists reaching him on the phone to sing the Russian national anthem. Earlier, the official fell victim to a prank call from Alexei Navalny's team. The governor published this statement on his Telegram channel on October 16.

On October 13, journalist Dmitry Nizovtsev called Sergey Nosov, introducing himself as an employee of Vyacheslav Volodin's office, and asked the official to publish a post stating that he had no conflicts with the Duma Speaker. Shortly after, a post denying any confrontation with Volodin appeared on Nosov's channel. On October 15, supporters of Alexei Navalny revealed that they had played a prank on the official.
In response, Sergey Nosov called the authors of the prank "provocateurs and traitors." He said that they are "far from being lexuses and vovans," referring to two notorious Russian pranksters. The official also intends to change the format of communication with the media.
"In these conditions, it is necessary to seriously change the approaches of the press service. When receiving a call from any journalist from any agency, they should be asked to repeat the phrase 'Crimea is ours,' sing the Russian national anthem, and only then proceed with communication," Nosov said.
The post published at the request of Navalny's team has not been deleted.
On October 10, during a State Duma session, Vyacheslav Volodin promised "Magadan" to Russians who had emigrated and "wished for the victory of the Kyiv regime." The United Russia party member called on legislators to do everything possible to prevent the return of "relocants."
Sergey Nosov refuses to accept those who have emigrated because of the war. On October 11, during a meeting with school teachers, the governor criticized stereotypes about the region and said that "Kolyma [referring to the Magadan region] does not welcome traitors."
