Activists of Navalny's headquarters in Murmansk were detained for three hours for the distribution of newspapers

Seven activists of the election headquarters of Aleksey Navalny in Murmansk were detained during the distribution of agitation newspapers.

Several under-age volunteers and the coordinator of the headquarters Violetta Grudina were among the detainees. The activists were released after three hours, not all of them were interrogated.  The police called parents of underage volunteers and tried to turn them against Grudina because she allegedly 'involved teenagers in illegal activities'.

On August 2, the Murmansk administration refused to coordinate the action in support of Navalny. On August 4, activists failed to challenge this refusal in court. The police sent a request to the city administration – in their opinion, Grudina organized the uncoordinated event on August 6. Grudina assumes that she will be prosecuted after the police receive a response to the request.

Navalny's headquarters in Murmansk was opened on July 26. Coordination of pickets was repeatedly denied.
