December 7, civil society activists Marina Sedova and Darya Chernysheva took to the pickets at Stefanovskaya square of the Komi capital, demanding to release Ildar Dadin convicted for violating the rules of holding mass events. It marked exactly a year from the date of sentencing. According to correspondent of «7x7», the two girls were detained and taken to the police.
Picket of Marina Sedova started at about 13:30. She stood on the porch of the Komi head administration with a poster "Freedom to Ildar Dadin". A guard came out of the building few minutes later, looked at the poster, went back into the building and called the police, who arrived 10 minutes later. Security officials explained to Marina Sedova that she broke the law, and offered to drive her to the duty unit.
Darya Chernysheva started picketing five minutes later. The same patrol crew arrived in 10 minutes.
'Are there many of you?' the policeman asked.
‘I am alone,' Daria Chernysheva said.
The girl was also taken to the police. Policemen drew up reports on administrative violations, activists will face a fine or corrective labor. Lawyer Ernest Mezak commented on detention on Facebook.
December 7, 2016 marked exactly a year from the date of conviction of activist Ildar Dadin because he repeatedly violated the rules of holding mass events. This was the first case in Russia with a real term for this article. Dadin was given three years.
The prisoner was transferred to the Segezha colony in Karelia. Soon Meduza has published his letter about tortures. The Investigative Committee has not found evidence of torture in the CF-7, a member of the Human Rights Council under the President of the country Igor Kalyapin, on the contrary, reported that the words of Dadin were confirmed by other prisoners.
In early December, it became known that Dadin was transferred to another colony. According to preliminary information, he is in Vologda now. Perhaps he will serve the rest of the term in one of the colonies of the Kirov region.
Any protests, including pickets, are prohibited at Stefanovskaya square of Syktyvkar. Parliament of Komi adopted this regional law on November, 2012. Last time leader of the "Komi Environmentalists" Nina Ananina was detained there on October 22, 2016. Now she has to pay a fine of 10 thousand rubles.
