On November 4, the National Unity Day, representatives of the democratic movement "Solidarity" and the Kirov branch of the political party "Parnas" held a picket to support Ildar Dadin and other political prisoners near the city administration. According to «7x7», here were nine participants.
The picket organizer, head of the regional branch of Parnas Vadim Ananyin said he was disappointed that the picket was not supported by other political activists of Kirov. Ananyin considers Dadin's act as a feat. According to him, loud letter of Ildar Dadin must lead to reforms in the prison system.
Participant of the picket, who introduced herself as a citizen of the Russian Federation Nadezhda Terletskaya, on the contrary, believes that the letter of Dadin has no effect on the treatment of prisoners:
'It is unlikely that anything will change. As we can see, the system stand up for itself very well: doctors and administration dismiss all the claims. It is unlikely that anything will change. It can become worse.'
According to Terletskaya, it's hard for the Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova because she is a person of system, trusting the testimony of the FPS, but at the same time she trust adequate testimony of Dadin.
Ildar Dadin is the first citizen of the Russian Federation, who is convicted of repeated violation of rules for holding rallies. On November 1, "Medusa" published letter of Dudin to his wife, in which he spoke about the numerous beatings and abuse in the IR-7 Segezha. After this the colony was checked. November 4, activists held pickets at the colony in Segezha, police arrested eight people, including journalists.
