According to "Blogg51", about a hundred people from the Central Asia and Africa came to the rally in Kandalaksha of Murmansk region with the slogan "We want to Finland".
Reporters filmed a story that several hundred refugees from Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Congo were left without means of livelihood in Kandalaksha.
Such a situation, according to the refugees themselves, has developed due to the fact that the so-called "carriers" deceived them left in Kandalaksha. Refugees intended to cross the border with Finland at the checkpoint Salla to seek asylum in a European country. However, the "helpers" have disappeared, when it turned out that February 29, 2016 crossing of the Finnish border for migrants from the "southern" countries was closed.
Then the refugees went back to Kandalaksha, and the owner of one of the hotels let them stay for free, but at any moment they can find themselves in the street. According to them, they do not have money to buy food even.
The flow of Middle Eastern refugees has been growing in the south of the Murmansk region on the border with Finland since the end of last year.
According to the Finnish Internet newspaper YLE, about 940 asylum seekers came from Russia to Finland through the Lapland checkpoints since the beginning of the year. This is about a third more than in the last year.
Also a record number of refugees in the past year tried to get through the Murmansk region to Norway: about 5.5 thousand people. In October 2015 «7x7» wrote about the situation on the Russian-Norwegian border. Even then, the Norwegians assessed it as critical. A flow of refugees declined after the tightening of immigration legislation.
