On the day of the all-Russian action to commemorate the murdered politician Boris Nemtsov on February, Yaroslavl activists installed three posters at the walls of the regional Duma, laid flowers to his portrait and put his photographs on the windows.

Unknown Yaroslavl activists, by analogy with the movie "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" installed three posters near the building of the regional parliament with the inscriptions: "Shot beside Kremlin", "Customer is still not found", "How come, Vladimir Putin?".
According to the script of the Hollywood movie, a mother of the murdered daughter rented three billboards to remind the police that it did not find the murderers of her child. In the original, the phrases are "Raped While Dying", "And Still No Arrests?", "How Come, Chief Willoughby?". On the march of Boris Nemtsov's memory in Moscow, three activists also used the idea of a film for posters.
Instead of the procession
On the morning of February 25, several activists laid flowers to the portrait of Boris Nemtsov at the entrance to the Yaroslavl Regional Duma. Moscow municipal deputy Yulia Galyamina laid flowers at the house of the murdered politician; on February 24, she delivered a lecture at the local headquarter of Alexey Navalny.
Yaroslavl branch of PARNAS also launched an action in memory of its former co-chairman Nemtsov. The activists of the party put several photos of Nemtsov on the windows of the houses. Their idea was supported by the Yaroslavl headquarter of Ksenia Sobchak, who is running for president of Russia.
Yaroslavl PARNAS tried to coordinate a memorable procession through the streets of the city in honor of Nemtsov; deputy Vasiliy Tsependa suggested several different routes for the demonstration. The city authorities offered him a rally in the Mira Park, in which several actions against corruption were held, but the politician refused. In 2017 and 2016, the processions of Nemtsov's memory were held in Yaroslavl without incident.
