On April 17, the site of the online journal «7x7» was unavailable to a number of users. We blame it on Roskomnadzor's blocking of the IP addresses of Telegram and advise you to use means of bypassing the blocks, for example, VPN-services.
According to the director of the online journal Pavel Andreev, the editorial is working on the problem, and in the near future access to the site will be restored:
"The editorial of «7x7» considers the blocking of Telegram unconstitutional. Roskomnadzor's efforts to control the Russian Internet harm its development. The activity of this department brings millions of dollars of loss to Russian business. Now our technical specialists are trying to solve the problem with access to the site. We hope that in the near future our site will be accessible to everyone. At the same time, we do not know what other IP addresses Roskomnadzor will block, so the problems with accessibility of Internet media in Russia will be resolved completely only after the dissolution of this meaningless governmental institution."
Founder of Telegram Pavel Durov refused to provide the Federal Security Service with encryption keys of the messenger. On April 16, Roskomnadzor started blocking access to this service. Durov himself advised users to use the means of bypassing the block and promised to integrate them into the messenger system. On April 17, the service resumed operation despite the blocking, and the IP addresses that it used were blocked.
