Founder of the memorial complex 'Sandarmokh' historian Yuri Dmitriev detained on December 13 is suspected in pornographic photography of the minor, "The Republic" writes. The court arrested him for two months.
According to a board member of the International "Memorial" Sergei Krivenko, quoted by "Mediazona", law enforcement agencies believe that the photos of granddaughter and daughter may be child pornography:
'As far as can be judged, this is a picture of two girls (his adopted daughter and granddaughter, they are about the same age), running naked to bathe in the bathroom, a typical family photo. The picture was on the home computer, and, according to Dmitriev's wife, no one did not put it on the Internet. It looks like provocation', added Krivenko.
As «7x7» reported previously, Dmitriev's wife told that the day before his arrest some one was in their apartment: rummaged through things, turned on the computer, but nothing was stolen. A few days before this, historian had several strange phone calls with questions about the "executioners lists" [probably lists of the NKVD published by "Memorial" in the end of November].
