Online journal «7x7» will change the chief editor on February 1, 2016

Members of the editorial board of the online journal «7x7» adopted new personnel decisions on the traditional annual meeting of 21 October. A journalist of the Ryazan section Sofia Krapotkina will become a chief editor of «7x7» on February 1, 2016. Until that time, the powers are reserved by Maxim Polyakov.

Editorial Board praised the work of Polyakov, noting that last year «7x7» broke the attendance records, and opened new branches in the Republic of Karelia and the Kostroma region. In the future, he will focus on working on the Komi section and the development of several projects of «7x7».

The new chief editor has several tasks: launching of the «7x7» sections in new regions, improving the structure of the site and others.

Sofia Krapotkina was born in Ryazan in 1988. She studied editorial business at the Moscow publishing and printing college named after Fyodorov, then graduated from the philological faculty of the Ryazan State University after Esenin. At the present time she is a political science graduate student of the Higher School of Economics. A graduate of the Moscow School of Political Studies.

Collaborated with "Novaya Gazeta", wrote for Amnesty International, also worked as a reporter of the portal Kasparov.ru and editor of BesTToday.ru. She joined the team of «7x7» one of the first, participating in the opening of the first regional section of Ryazan in 2011. The coordinator of a number of non-profit initiatives.
