Police detained Chuvash student hung out a banner in memory of Nemtsov Horizontal Russia 0

An activist of the youth movement of "Spring" and "Open Russia" Anastasia Vasilyeva was taken to the police from lessons in the Chuvash Pedagogical University on February 27. This was announced by coordinator of "Open Russia" in Chuvashia Dmitry Semyonov.

The first department of the police number 1 of Cheboksary did not confirm this information. Five hours after the news on the arrest, Dmitry Semyonov reported that Anastasia Vasilyeva got in touch and told that the police called her parents to the department. According to her, she was asked to confess in action on a bridge in Cheboksary; she will likely be released only on February28.

On the eve of Remembrance Day of politician Boris Nemtsov, on February 25, Vasilyeva participated in uncoordinated actions: together with other activists, she hung out banner with the slogan "Can not kill each of us, can not put in prison!" on the bridge in Cheboksary. It is not yet reported about the rest of the participants.

It became known that the activist was released.
