On November 24, Kirov Regional Court considered an appeal against the arrest of the former coordinator of Navalny's headquarters in Kirov Artur Abashev. He confirmed his arrest for five days for organizing single pickets in support of the politician.
According to him, the meeting took place within five minutes. Judge Sergey Blinov (known for the first case of "Kirovles") left the appeal without satisfaction, and the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court was unchanged.
Artur Abashev was taken to a special detention center for the arrested. He described his detention conditions as "horrible" and noted that he has about a dozen reasons to apply to the European Court of Human Rights.
On November 22, Abashev was arrested for five days for organizing a series of single pickets in support of Alexey Navalny. According to the police, a set of single pickets is a public event, and it was necessary to notify the city administration. The police claimed that the organizer did not do it. Defense of Abashev denied this — three notifications on holding a rally and pickets were attached to the case.
